Words having MB together such as TOMB, WOMB, NUMB, PLUMBER
Correct pronunciation: Irrespective of the fact for how long you have been pronouncing words including MB as you have been, the correct pronunciation has the “B” silent. The “O” is pronounced as in “to” and not as in “go”. Hence, the correct pronunciation is “TOOM”, “WOOM”, “NUM” and “PLUM-ER”.
